About SureInsure
An insurance broker helps you understand your insurance needs, compares options from the insurers they work with, and arranges cover on your behalf. As your broker, SureInsure acts for you rather than the insurer, including when it comes time to make a claim.
Insurers usually pay brokers a commission that is included in the premium, and in some cases a broker fee may also apply. Any fees and commissions are disclosed to you before you take out a policy, and are explained in our Financial Services Guide.
We assist with a range of personal and business insurance, including home and contents, vehicle, landlord, strata, boat, caravan, business packs, liability, professional indemnity, cyber, management liability, fleet, farm and more. Availability and suitability depend on your circumstances.
SureInsure is based in Brisbane, Queensland, with offices in Kedron and Chermside, and provides insurance broking services to clients across Australia.
You can request a quote online through our Get a Quote page, send us a message through the Contact page, or call our team on (07) 3519 6999.

Getting a Quote
Yes. Requesting a quote or comparison from SureInsure is free and there is no obligation to proceed.
It depends on the type of cover. Simple personal policies can often be quoted quickly, while business and specialist insurance may take longer as insurers assess the risk. We will keep you updated along the way.
Details about what you want to insure, your current cover (if any), your claims history and anything the insurer needs to know to assess the risk. Providing complete and accurate information helps avoid problems later.
Where appropriate, we approach insurers we deal with regularly to compare cover and price. Details of how we select insurers are set out in our Financial Services Guide.
No. Cover only starts once a policy has been confirmed and bound by the insurer. We will let you know when your cover is in place.
Of course. Call our team on (07) 3519 6999 for immediate assistance.
Making a Claim
As soon as you become aware of a claim, or a potential claim. Letting us know early helps us advise you and notify the insurer promptly.
You should not normally repair without the insurer's authority, but you can take reasonable steps to prevent further damage — for example, emergency repairs to stop water coming in after a storm. Take photos before and after, keep receipts, and call us as soon as you can.
No, not until the insurer has agreed. The insurer may want to assess the damage, and if they can't, you may have to prove the loss. Take photos and keep damaged items where it is safe to do so.
No. Even if you think you are at fault, do not admit liability. Report the incident to us and we will notify the insurer, who will assess liability.
Usually your policy details, a description of what happened, the date and location, photos, receipts or proof of ownership, and any police or incident report numbers. We will tell you if the insurer needs anything else.
Where we arranged your policy as your broker, we act for you — not the insurer. We help you lodge and progress the claim, pass on insurer responses and assist if a claim is disputed or declined.
Talk to us. We can review the insurer's reasons against your policy wording and help you ask for a review. If you remain unhappy, the insurer's complaints process and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) are also available to you.
